Wild Hearts Yoga supports certified yoga teachers in refining their leadership, presence, and integrity — through advanced continuing education and thoughtful 1:1 mentorship.

Why WHY?

  • Wild Hearts Yoga serves certified yoga teachers who care deeply about their work — how they teach, how they lead, and how they continue to grow.

The work we’ll do together is about refining your leadership presence, strengthening embodiment, and arriving with clarity — without performance, pressure, or perfectionism.

    • Refinement & discernment

    • Embodied presence

    • Creative intelligence

    • Resilient practice

    • Responsible community

  • Alexis’ approach to teaching and mentoring is grounded in lived experience. She teaches from what has been practiced, tested, and integrated over time — not from performance or having it all figured out.

She believes meaningful learning happens in spaces where people feel steady enough to be honest — with their bodies, their voices, and their questions. Clarity matters, but not at the expense of humanity. Structure matters, but only when it supports listening inward. Skill matters, but never as a substitute for self-trust.

As a mentor, Alexis’ role is not to push teachers toward an idealized version of themselves, but to create the conditions where their natural intelligence can surface. This work holds space for inquiry, uncertainty, and reflection alongside discipline and growth.

She trusts that wisdom unfolds in cycles — moments of stepping back to integrate, and moments of stepping forward to share what has become embodied. She honors both in herself and in the teachers she works with.

Her leadership is invitational rather than forceful. She mentors best when there is mutual readiness and recognition. When teachers arrive willing to engage, her work is to guide with steadiness, precision, and care — offering frameworks that support exploration rather than rigid answers to memorize.

At the heart of her teaching is the belief that authority grows through experience. She models this by continuing to listen, learn, and evolve — and by encouraging teachers to trust the timing of their own understanding.

This work is about refinement and return — clarifying what is already true, and learning how to live and lead from there.

Alexis Comardo, ERYT 500 & YACEP

Hi— I’m Alexis 👋

A yoga teacher, mentor, and facilitator with nearly a decade of experience supporting yoga teachers in their leadership and teaching.

My work is grounded in lived practice and long-term involvement in teacher training and mentorship. I’m a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 and Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), and I’ve trained across a range of methodologies, with a strong foundation in Baptiste-informed yoga and embodied leadership.

After mentoring and managing new teachers in studio settings, I opened Wild Hearts Yoga, which served the North Denver community until 2022. That experience — holding space as both teacher and studio owner — continues to inform how I approach leadership, responsibility, and sustainable teaching.

In recent years, my focus has centered on teacher education. I’ve led and coached multiple 200-hour teacher trainings and advanced teacher programs, and I currently serve as a Senior Lead Facilitator with CorePower Yoga in South Denver. In this role, I’ve mentored dozens of teachers seeking to deepen embodiment, clarify their voice, and lead with greater presence and integrity.

Across all of my work, I’m less interested in technique for its own sake and more interested in how teachers live what they teach — how leadership becomes embodied, trustworthy, and grounded over time.
