mother, teacher, E-RYT 200, co founder “wild hearts yoga”
Michelle has been teaching yoga since 2008. Her career began as a dancer in New York and over the last ten years evolved her study of movement and dance to include yoga, personal fitness and Zesa. Movement isn’t restricted to just on a mat or in a studio – or gym, but a dance and flow from one moment to the next. In mind, body and spirit. She has led yoga teacher trainings and guided many students to find their path in yoga. Michelle believes she is as much a teacher as she is a student. It is unique connections with others she seeks, a voice to the authentic soul and a dance with the wild heart.
Gretchen Walch Nord
mother, RYT 235, BA in Art Education, MA in Art, Reiki Master & certified Chair Yoga Instructor
Gretchen is passionate about yoga and education. She has thirty years of classroom experience and her yoga practice is almost as old. Gretchen recently left the school classroom for the yoga classroom. Her training through Devanadi School of Yoga emphasized traditional Hatha asana, pranayama, and meditation practices. Gretchen has extensive knowledge of living a yogic life and her intention is to share this knowledge. Gretchen plays the crystal singing bowls, chants and especially loves to teach breath, meditation, restorative, yin and yoga Nidra. Her training in the healing energy of Reiki brings an additional layer to her practice. Healing through mind, spirit, body, and the energetic field is her intention, this is what she wants to share. To serve, to transform, to love and to live. This to Gretchen is yoga.
