The “Why?” behind WHY

We exist to celebrate the expression of the inner wild we carry uniquely within our hearts.

WHY’s Values

We value connection, play, authenticity & nature and instill these values in our yoga classes. Our classes are a vehicle for self-exploration, self- discovery and transformation.

Wild Hearted Creator

Alexis Comardo - Creator & Founder of Wild Hearts Yoga, Wild Hearted Yoga Teacher & Butisattva

Alexis is a Yoga Alliance RYT 500 hr certified teacher. She graduated from BIG Power Yoga Denver’s first 200 hour program in 2017 and from Lit From Within’s first 300 Hour Training - a true pioneer who is a stand for supporting beginnings. While Alexis specializes in Powerful Flow, she is also certified in all class styles created by Buti® Yoga, one of the keys which have helped to unlock her inner wild. Alexis is masterful and creative in her class crafting; she enjoys building in unique transitions and sequencing together poses in a new way. She is passionate about helping others build strength in both body and mind. Her classes are challenging, playful, diverse and fun!

Alexis has led several yoga workshops including foundations workshops for beginners, yin and vision boarding, inversions and arm balances workshops for all levels of practitioners (a fiery passion of hers!) and meditation & mindfulness workshops for educators in Denver Public Schools. Alexis is a lifelong learner who takes a new workshop or course each month to build on what sets her apart as a teacher including her knowledge of anatomy, alignment based instruction, arm balances, inversions, backbends and intuitive movement. She is a small business owner and opened Wild Hearts Yoga in 2018, whose mission is to service the community with eco-conscious programming in addition to yoga classes.

When she’s not teaching or practicing, Alexis enjoys riding her horse Rayban, hiking with her husband Mitch & huskies Kaia and Else, traveling, and reading by the fire with her cat Toki.
